Weekend Roundup

Weekend Roundup

Hi y’all!

Last night Adam and I went to the soft opening of a new restaurant in Dallas called Dolce Riviera. The menu isn’t known to the public yet so you won’t be able to look it up if you try. I went into the dining experience with no expectations! Let me say, it was amazing from start to finish.Β I am Italian so I am pretty particular with my Italian food but I was not disappointed. Even the decor was incredible! If you live in Dallas it is a MUST. Or if you don’t live in Dallas, it’s worth fitting into your travel plans. πŸ˜‰

We started off with wine, fresh bread, cheese and olives. Then transitioned to burrata with fresh heirloom tomatoes and calamari. For the main course I had the Fetuccini Bolognese. All of the pastas are homemade in house and the chef assures that everything tastes just like how it would in Italy. (Traveling to Italy is on my bucket list!) Needless to say, I was savoring every bite. And Adam’s lamb was beautifully plated. I wish I would have snapped a picture for you!

I wore a new Lilly Pulitzer dress I just bought because I am a Lilly lover. Even if it is fall, it still feels like summer in Texas! This dress is so comfortable and great for going out or wearing to work with a cardigan. I’m always looking for clothes that are versatile! My wedges are Michael Kors. I get so much wear out of them because they’re a great year round wedge!

  1. You look wonderful! I love Lilly Pulitzer too. Sounds like you had a great night- I think going to a soft opening is always an interesting experience. It feels more intimate somehow. I’m excited to have discovered your blog and I’m looking forward to reading more of your posts. Thanks so much for stopping by mine!

    1. Thank you so much B! πŸ’— I agree about the intimate setting of a soft opening. It was quiet and the waiting staff was so kind and really wanted to get to know us. I love dining experiences like that! I’m so excited to read your blog posts as well πŸ™‚ Hope you’re having a lovely day! Xo
