Wishing you the best!
Hey y’all! I hope you are doing well and having a great hump day! I am on spring break this week and loving the down time but also missing my little loves. If you need me, I’ll be on the couch watching Chrisley Knows Best snuggling with Winston. For my friends in the Northeast buried in snow, I hope this outfit reminds you that spring is near!
So, if I could live in Anthropologie, I would. From the clothes to the home decor, I’m always smitten’. This peplum top is light and flirty and perfect to teach in or dress up for date night. I just love the combination of polka dots and stripes! I paired it with my slim chino pants also from Anthropologie. I get so many compliments on them because they are a nice clean crop pant. If you don’t love the khaki color, there are 8 other colors to choose from. Did I mention they’re under $100?! They fit true to size but stretch a little bit. These Michael Kors Wedges are my favorite (I also have them in black!) so you’ll see me wearing them a TON but a pair of heels with these pants would look cute, too. Last but not least, my little pouch is sadly sold out but I am sure J.Crew will be restocking because it’s a must-have. I love how feminine it is and holds my license, credit cards, and lip gloss. You can always throw it inside of your bag if you don’t want to carry it by itself as a clutch. I’m going to have my initials monogrammed in gold at some point.

Have a wonderful rest of the week friends!
Hey everyone! Let me first start by apologizing for the lack of posts lately. Eeek! Life is pretty busy being a first grade teacher, puppy mommy, and working on building my brand. I tell myself it’s not a race and I am content with where I’m at in the process. As a teacher, I am learning every day from my kids and now as a blogger, I am learning from amazing bloggers who are becoming great friends. Once summertime comes, I will be able to dedicate more of my time to blogging and really getting to know you guys as readers so thank you for following along regardless of the inconsistent post schedule. With that being said, I can’t wait to share with you some exciting things I have planned for the spring/summer. 😉
Soo, Shopbop started their sale today which is very exciting news! To show my appreciation and your loyalty to me, treat yourself to a piece or two from the sale using the promo code GOBIG17:
- 15% off orders of $200+
- 20% off orders of $500+
- 25% off orders of $800+
Now to talk about one of my current favorite outfits from Anthropologie. I don’t know about you, but printed silk tops like this just make me happy. It’s also on SALE for less than $50! The neckline and flowy silhouette are adorable. Pair it with some skinny jeans and you’re good to go! I love animal print so the fact that there are cheetahs all over made it an even more easy buy. I love the preppy clean-cut look of these jeans and how they are so soft. I loved them so much I ended up getting them also in the honey color. They run true to size and won’t disappoint you! I dress them up for date night or casually wear them to teach in. I also linked a few of my favorite hair products from Nordstrom!

This weekend we are off to Maryland for a wedding! Tune into my Insta Stories for fun snaps throughout the weekend @gracemeetsglam.
Thank you for reading. It means the world to me!
Good morning, friends! I hope your weekend is off to a great start. Adam and I are going to Fort Worth tonight to a wedding shower for one of my best friends! I can’t wait to see her since she lives in Mississippi now. She also teaches first grade and we were Thetas at TCU together. So many good memories! Tomorrow we need to go out to get Winston some new goodies including a new leash and collar. He is getting bigger everyday! Once he can sit still for longer than 5 seconds, he will debut in a post or two. 😉
I don’t know about you, but my floral OTS top has me so ready for spring. The sleeves are fun and there is a flirty cutout detail in the back. It runs big so I sized down and it’s still very flowy so depending on how fitted you want it to be size accordingly. I am wearing an XS for reference. You can even pair this top with leggings because it’s long and I know my long-waisted friends appreciate that! Overall, great quality for a good price.
This cross body bag is definitely one of my favorites and will be for awhile. It’s a powder blue bag that will get you out of your winter doldrums! Perfect for now, Easter, and all spring and summer and it’s roomy enough to fit your cellphone, sunglasses, and wallet. Did I mention it’s $35?! SO good.
I also wanted to share some amazing sales with y’all that are going on this weekend ONLY. If you are a J.Crew lover like I am, take an extra 30% off sale with code SHOPNOW. Where are my Bloomingdale’s girls? Take an extra 20% off select with code BIGEVENT. Both promotions end on February 5th. Enjoy!
Outfit details: OTS top | White jeans | Crossbody | Sandal | Earrings (A post is in the works about her amazing handmade leather goods!) Bracelet | Ring

Hey loves! I hope you had a relaxing weekend. My batteries are recharged and I’m ready for a new week with my littles! With Groundhogs Day AND the 100th day of school on Thursday, we are bound to have a busy but fun week. I spent the weekend shooting some new looks that I can’t wait to share with you guys, including a Valentines shoot with some of my Dallas blogger friends. Stay tuned for a special giveaway!
I’ve been crushing on this ivory pleated skirt ever since I bought it. It’s definitely a staple piece that every girl needs in her wardrobe! I can already picture it with a denim jacket for a cute spring look. The gingham top is one of my favorites because of the tie-sleeve detail. I can’t wait to wear this top with a red skirt or bold yellow pants. My heels are BCBG and easy to pair with so much! My boyfriend actually got this bag for me while he was in Italy. It looks SO similar to a Stella McCartney bag! I think we can all agree that Adam has good taste. 😉

Have a great week friends!
Good morning lovies! I am here to tell you about a great boutique I found in California that I think you’re going to love. The clothing screams effortlessly cool California style! It’s called Ooh La Loft. I’m wearing one of their cream lace-up sweaters paired with skinny black jeans and tan booties for a casual look. The sleeves are slightly cropped and hit at about my wrist. I’m wearing the S/M for size reference and love how it is oversized and cozy. If cream isn’t your color, it comes in 4 other colors to choose from. Can’t forget to show some love to my floral wristlet from Anthropologie. I got this little number last year and don’t know what I would do without it!

Happy Saturday y’all! We have company in town from NYC and Chicago and I can tell you that Winston is loving all of this extra attention. 😉 Little update on our dood: he knows his name when called, he can climb onto the couch with ease, loves having his belly rubbed, and his favorite toy is a marshmallow stuffie. On Monday, he has a visit to the doctor for more shots. I don’t know who’s more nervous, Winston or mommy. LOL. If you know me, I am a baby when it comes to all of that stuff even just thinking about shots I get woozy!
When I saw this tunic at Lilly, I immediately fell for the color blocking and fringe detail. I paired it with a fun tassel necklace, also from Lilly. Can you tell I’m obsessed?! Only a few more months until I can wear it with printed shorts! The tunic runs small so I advise you to go with the next size down. I am wearing the XXS/XS for reference and it’s flowy and comfortable. It also comes in serene blue with gray. I got these Quay Australia sunnies last May and they are on sale now for $39!
